It was a night already. Misha sat in her quiet room, she had just finished her letter. Her empty tea cup stood on the table like asking to be carried back down the stairs. She scowled at it. Not today. You can wait.
The wind pushed against the windows with great pressure howling its lonely high-pitched song. Wooooosh. She could hear the twigs rustling against the glass and imagine the swish of leaves on the trees. The heavy drumming of the pouring rain accompanied the wind’s song, it went pitter, patter on the leaves. But somehow that melodic music of mother nature didn’t bring her a wink of sleep.
